Remote start with Fastkey
Im reposting this question hoping someone more knowledgeable will respond.
Doesn't the ECU basically control the FastKey system? Couldn't a low level programmer for EcuFlash change the hex code in the ECU to give us the ability to remote start?

I have the Viper SMart start installed in my car with FAST key. After remote starting, you still have to turn the key to the ON position (and therefore you need the original FASTKEY fob) or else the engine will cut off when you ht the brakes.
AFAIK, there's no way around this (for now at least), you'll have to carry both the remote starter fob and the FAST key
