Hey everyone, I have searched around on this forum and google and I am having a hard time finding the answer I need. I have a 2013 base GSR. I came across the sirius module 8701A219 on eBay and purchased it. From what I found on this forum and the internet this should work in my car. My issue is I cannot find the plug for the module. I am hoping someone on here has the same year and has done the same thing as me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

 

On my 2010, the harness/plug for the Sirius box was taped to the metal dash support on the passenger side above and to the right of the glovebox. The Sirius unit mounts vertically there.

 

How much did you have to rip apart to get to it?

 

Not much - the plug was taped to the frame and was pretty easy to see once the glovebox was out. I have the Evo SE (my understanding is that you could not buy it with Sirius installed) and the plug was there, so I would expect that it's in every Evo.

 

Glove box comes out with no tools, just squeeze each side and it dumps on the floor

 

I have definitely taken the glovebox out and even the panel by the door. Then started looking above after looking a wiring diagram. Never found any plug that matched the one on the module.

 

Just checked again and nothing. They must have removed it in the newer models.
