Remove Sirius Module?

I have a 2011 GSR w/ the SS Package & Navi, but I never listen to Sirius and I was wanting to remove the Sirius Module so I could mount a Defi Advance Controller there.

Wondering would I get any error messages on my Navi Screen?
Will the Audio work without any issues?

Why go through the trouble of removing the sirius module. Its is behind the glove compartment up against the firewall....pain in the *** to get to and remove.

It actually looks pretty easy on my car. Just 2 screws holding it onto a bracket.

I guess I'll just go ahead and try to unplug it and see what happens.

You will not have any issues. You simply won't see the Sirius options on your Navi screen. It is as easy as it looks to remove.

Thanks for the info.

It was really easy to take out and my Defi Controller mounted right up to the bracket.

I removed mine as well, it was a lot harder to put the glove box back in place than to remove the module..........
