2011 Backup Camera Installed on OEM Navi

Just wanted to share with you guys my experience. I saw a few other members do this same install and had success but for me I've been utterly disappointed with the way mine turned out. I knew the bumper was going to get in the way because another evom member already pointed it out, but the shop I took it to said if they put something inside to adjust it I will risk water getting in. The camera looks slick and discreet but the functionality looks almost useless to me. This is the same Ebay camera as some of the other members but theirs turned out so much better. My camera is almost colorblind, you could barely tell what color the objects are. See photos below. If any of you have had a similar experience please let me know how you went about fixing this.
