Evo x GSR Halogens to HID help needed
Dear all,
I have a 2015 GSR with Halogen lights. I want to get better headlights.
1. Will Eov x MR's Xenons work on my 2015 GSR?
2. There are some headlights on eBay, cheap and cheap looking as well. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they worth the money? The one I liked was the spyder.
3. Any other suggestions?
Thank you. Peace!!

1. The headlight housing will bolt up no problem, just wont be able to use the leveling system. As for the electricals, you will need a an adaptor for 9006 to the OEM ballest. Easier would be just to get a 9006 to D2S HID kit.
2. They arent to bad but they are cheap feeling. When you hold them OEM and aftermarket side by side you can really tell the difference. I've had some that work fine out of the box and some I've had to make adjustments or redo the electronics. The projector in them doesnt have a very good cut off and they are all for halogens. When you put an HID in there you will have glare everywhere.
3. For the best performance I would suggest an OEM BI-Xenon headlight (expensive) with a D2S HID kit. Another suggestion would be an HID retrofit of a DEPO replica headlight. The DEPO headlights are pretty good when compared to stock. Open up the Depo light and replace the projector setup with a EVOX-R BI-xenon, you can spray paint and add LEDs if you want. Google "Evo X retrofit" to get an idea.

You will need to get a HID kit with a 9006 plug and a D2S bulb. No need oem stuff. They are pretty easy to find. The EvoX-R is a bi-xenon so if you get it from the right place it will have a 9004 plug on the solenoid for your highs. The Retrofit Source is a good place for everything you need. There is also guys on here that will do it for you for a fee.

What's up man.
I finally have bought two oem/stock Bi-Xenon Headlight of MR for my GSR, which has the ****ty halogens. I know you told me I need a 9006 to D2S HID conversion kit. You also told me that the high beams are 9004, which is what confused me. Is there a specific conversion kit that would work with the stock MR bi-xenon's?

Scratch that. Better yet. Might want to check here. Should be plug and play. Besides the level switch and drl issue.
