Just got my 2015 and have a few issues, like my iPod taking for ever to load, or never even finishing, even though it worked within a few seconds the very first time I plugged it in.

Pondering whether I should get the update. I'm a bit weary of updates these days. Has anyone experienced any issues or loss of functionality with 19.0.0?

I believe I Have 19.0.0 and it still takes my ipod forever to load and sometimes it wont even skip songs and such.

if I read right in the past, the problem is more so with the headunit itself. I think it has a really poor processor.

That sucks.

Sticking in a basic USB stick seems to work, though it still re-reads files every time you page up/down and enter and leave folders. You'd figure it would build some sort of an index. Might look into the option of sticking in an android tablet.

how did you find the update? Also does anyone know the max files and folders for the SD card? The manual is way off. I have over 1000 songs and that is way off from the manual.

Honestly, I don't remember if I saw it for download somewhere, or whether I was going to have the dealer do it.

There is a russian site with update downloads, but I think the links are dead now. I found them through threads like these
