Title says it all.

I get a buzzing sound when nothing is plugged into the AUX port if I select AUX. Sometimes it goes away if I plug a cable in, but typically it continues. It seems to have gotten worse over time.

Any thoughts?

Does it increase in pitch as the RPM's climb? It could be alternator feedback. If thats the case you could get a ground loop isolator for pretty cheap.
