Where would I tap into the back end of the center console to power the USB?


Looking at that.

The reason I'm asking is that I actually bought myself the Ralliart center cubby, which has those doors that my GSR didn't come with, and the doors are the carbon fiber ones, that my GSR has for the trim, and I think it looks better and a lot cleaner.

Now, I've been looking on eBay for the center shifter part

Cause, I mean, I can always snap back in the Gear Shifter Boot Bezel Trim but I don't need 2 cig units.
I want to get this item because I think if I unscrew the shift boot, I can just interchange it with the part from eBay, since it's shorter. I think it will work just fine.

 

Is there any reason you can't hook up the USB module to where the cigarette lighter is connected?

 

You mean this? If so, I have one. But I already bought something off of eBay over the weekend.

I think they mean, use the power wire to the cig lighter since you are replacing it?

There should be an orange wire that powered the oem Cig Lighter. May have been torn off, check lower center console under dash to see if you can find it. Hot 12V should not be flopping around.
