Turning down boost to up MPG figures
I only recommend to stay off the throttle...but that is tough in this car. The gas mileage is horrible. **** ME! I think I blew like 80 bucks over the weekend and put only about 350-400 miles total. You have to pay for this kind of performance I guess, I don't think the mileage sucks as much as gas prices do though. I don't care if this car burned gas the way it does if gas was 2.50 for 93 the way it is fawking supposed to be.
lowering the boost won't do much for mileage. Once some tuning software/hardware comes out it may be likely to get a more fuel efficient tune. Your best best (as already mentioned) will always be to stay out of boost, and try to drive it in closed loop as much as possible.
