Innovate OT-1 CAN / OBD2 logging?

There are tons of laptops/notebooks/handhelds that would be powerful enough to show some graphs or run a few applications in a car...that come in under $500.
List some desired features/size characteristics, and I'd be happy to search a bit. I used to work on Fujitsu-Siemens' full line of computing products overseas, and I can tell you that more than 3 years ago they had some really cool, small, powerful machines that might fit your needs...I can only imagine what's out there now. Other vendors would undoubtedly have a lot to offer as well.
EDIT: I can't type.

Toshiba used to make the Libretto, which I thought was fantastic and would be great for a car-pc/logging application. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore for the US, and I haven't seen any cheap alternatives. An inexpensive, small tablet, running XP would be perfect...

^ Good info! And you're right, XP would be better than Vista for something like this.
I love Vista, but its way too cluttered for something like this. XP is easier to "strip" of all the useless processes/services anyway.
