First Evo X Service Advisory Issued (fuel in oil)
Mitsubish has issued the first service advisory on the Evo X. High boost on a non-heat saturated motor can force fuel into the oil. All turbo egines are prone ot this but Mitsu saw fit to issue the warning so maybe a little extra care is necessary for the X.
Let them warm up before you wring them out.

Maybe so. I've noticed on my X that the fuel/air has leaned out since passing the 600 mile "break in" period although it's still rich until the engine is HOT. It's worth noting also that I live in a cold climate and this is the first weekend in the 60's as well. A lot of mass-flow sensors have trouble in cold weather. On the Porsches, which I'm much more familiar with, the mass-flow housing has a heater line to keep ice from forming on the sensor itself. This is a performance trade off in hot weather because in essence you end up pre-heating the air on the way into the engine. We would install a manual valve to shut the flow of antifreeze for racing.

I don't have the passage word for word out of the OWNERS MANUAL for the X but it does plainly say that engine should be warmed up to the point that the water temperature bar on the display screen is starting to register.
On the plus side due to the turbo and the heat that the engine does produce naturally it doesn't take very long (a few minutes of normal driving) for the engine to warm up.
The car was starting to warm up for me after about 1/2 a mile after starting the car in the morning in about -5 celcius temperatures.

Duhhhh. Metal expands as it get warmer, therefor the seals within the combustion chamber wont be as tight on a cold motor as with a properly "heat saturated" motor. Now this becomes less of a problem once the motor is broken in and heat cycled on a regular basis.
