That happened to me, once I got the MBC in my car. I took it off immediately, and got a tune at Road Race Engineering using Ecutek. So far so good. Get it tuned, Ecutek can raise your boost threshold.
You don't really need MBC if you use Ecutek. You could use MBC, but I prefer to increase my boost using Ecutek only. And Ecutek can alter the boost threshold map so that it doesn't throw CEL and go into limp mode.
The tune can be adjusted to account for an mbc if the tuner understands how the tables work. However, you still have to make sure you keep your boost level adjusted properly.
For the most part, there is no need for an mbc when the ecu is tuned using EcuTek tools.

I would say that is a fair assessment. We had a customer that drove up from florida because the only EcuTek tuner closer to him said he would not tune the car without an mbc. No idea who that shop was and I don't think they are on here.
Hey guys, thank you for the advice. Im just waiting on my greddy tic to come in before I get it tuned. I figured the MBC would be a great band-aid for a little more power until it was tuned.
Sorry for the broken english in the above post. I was in half in the bag when i posted it.

P1235 code also came up when I adjusted the stock wastegate. Idles at 2k. I will mess around with it this afternoon maybe set my wastegate back to stock. I really wish these parts ordered would come in so I can get an tune.
MBC = FTL. Either get the ECU to do it or get a EBC. I dont care what anyone says, a MBC is a ticking bomb waiting to happen if you are not watching your engine parameters i.e. AFR and the such. Feel lucky the ECU caught it and limp you up some. Theres a reason for the code, not just to make you mad.
