Ecutek Tuning Guide??
Ecutek Tuning Guide??
Tuning Noobie question:
Does anyone have a tutorial/guide on tuning with ecutek or any method for that matter? I have searched far and wide for something helpful to no avail.
Since I have had my last turbo car (Honda Prelude) tuned with crome and was messing around with tuning in my brothers '96 gsx with him I have been very interested in learning how it works. Even though I know how complicated it can get, I think it's something that with time can be a fun and useful thing to know. Also I realize that having a dyno makes the tune but I know street tuning can be done as well. Even if it's something that is done before going to have a "tuner" do it on a dyno I still would have a great sense of accomplishment.
Sorry if this is vague at all but mainly I'm just looking to have some sort of direction with starting to learn how to tune. I consider myself tech/computer/car savvy so don't think I want a button on a program that says "TUNE" and it be done, haha.
Well, with that being said, thanks for any help in advance, and flame on
BTW Evo X is in the near future when lease on current vehicle is up in Feb. cant wait
