AEM Tru-Boost Settings

If you have one, what settings are you running? When I have mine activated, I can't get it to not spike hard up to 28-29 psi and taper. I've had it give me a CEL from overboost twice already that I've had to reset. Just feels like I can't get a smooth boost curve and have it hold decently to redline.

I have mine even set all the way back to 2.5 spring pressure and 20% duty cycle too.

I know this will not help, but I have the Tru-boost gauge in my car and took the solenoid out and have a hallman mbc. Why you ask? Because I could never get the damn thing set right. It would spike too high and drop down a high rpms. But with the hallman mbc it spikes to 24.8 psi and it held 16.2 to redline, but holds to 18.7 psi with the wastegate mod. Good luck with the install and someone actually figures it out I might reinstall it.

I have it running perfectly on my car (IX GSR), set spring rate at 11.5 and duty cycle 65% and holds fine 23psi with peaks of 24. Could be the install, double-check on the hoses and the solenoid ports. Good luck!
