Just had my ECU flashed by mail in AMS

Got a JDM which is tuned for 98-100 RON fuel. here in Trinidad, we get crappy 90 ( r+m)/2 Oct so the car had to be tuned. Sent it to AMS. Night and day difference with the car. First gear pulls hard all the way to the red line, second comes too quick, drive train struggles to keep up. All the hesitation points, power drop off after 5500 rpm are all gone. I just have a T1 R CBE on it. Love the car so much now esp knowing that its running safely on my Octane now. Thanks AMS

I can do just about all of the mods that are out for the EVO X at this time. You let me know how much octane you have to work with and I make you a timing map that will suit your application well, and adjust other parameters as necessary. Send me over a mod list and what you want to accomplish and I'm sure I can work something out for you.

I don't have any software for an SR. What is available? If you have something I can work with, I would be happy to tune it for you. Knowing how to tune is about 99% of the battle. Taking a few minutes to figure out new software is no problem.

Anyone can tune your car for you. However, the mapping will have to be re-started from scratch, and can't simply be tweaked. All tuners are only allowed to flash and datalog the ECU. You can't pull any previous information from it. The ECU is not locked.

Do you guys recommend bringing a car in to you to tune or doing the mail in flash? I have an injen intake and piping kit and was going to get your turboback and have you do a tune but it would be about a 10 hour drive for me? Can you shoot me a pm with what you'd recommend and a ballpark price?
thanks for the help!

If you are in the area I would definitely recommend that you bring your car by so that we can get the most out of it.

Mail-in's are still good and they will be able to get about 95% of the horsepower out of the car!.

I'm sending you a pm rocknsnoboarder
