Anything that can be done to override traction control?

even when i completely turn it off, which i have to in order to have any fun with this car, it still kicks in and slows me down. it probably is good for most people since they cant drive, but it annoys the **** out of me.

1st press and "ASC OFF" indication turns off the throttle cutting I think.

2nd press and hold makes a beep and notification on the MFD in the center of tha gauge cluster and that should turn off most if not all aids.

Someone cut in here if I am incorrect though...

are you bogging the launch? ASC off doesn't prevent that....

But yeah, what are you trying to do when it's slowing you down?

dont mess with launch control, traction control just kicks in sometimes during autox runs and pisses me off...

AFAIK the hold down method TOTALLY disables TC.

What are your symptoms, maybe its not TC...

I bet you his clutch is slipping. It's not traction control.

If he cannot tell the difference between the two he should not be driving the car

Usually if you hold it down for a few secs it should turn it off.

Would you re-describe the problem you are experiencing in detail?

ugh, i have an MR,(says that by my avatar) been driving legally for 12 years now including several racecars, gone thru my fair share of clutches. anyway when i have the warning arrow indicator showing me that traction control is off, can feel some brake application to the rear wheels ocassionally(can't spell) and feels like traction control kicking in. i have heard about it kicking in on its own when things get out of hand, i do drive pretty aggressively(auto-x)
