Any local aftermarket companies in Southern Orange County, CA reflashing the '08 Evo ECU? If anyone has looked into this, what performance gains are they achieving? Thanks!

Works came down to EDO performance and re-flash my ECU. Give EDO a call. They might be selling the re-flash ECUs at their shop and if you need a dyno tune they can do that too.

Road Race Engineering in Santa Fe Springs. They've probably tuned most EVO X in Socal. My base line was 240 whp; with FMIC, IC Pipe, Intake, Test Pipe & Exhaust it was 280 whp; After Tune: 350 whp. I've also run a separate dyno with 100 oct on a dynojet, and it put out 380 whp.

Also, I've tracked this car at California Speedway Interior Road Cource, and my car has a slightly faster straight line speed verses Porche GT3 RS.

and you dont have to wait for a mail in flash, that isn't custom to your particular setup.

Can anyone recommend some good tuners in the Costa Mesa, CA area? I may be going out there to see a friend, and want to get my GSR tuned, possibly using a cobb AP. Just wondering if there are any good tuners out in that general area.

For all the nuthuggers out there -- educate yourself before you start mouthing off. Road Race doesn't do Cobb AP. And they aren't even near Costa mesa!

HBSpeed is right next door and they have been getting great reviews. Great group of guys over there and most importantly Jon is good friends with the guys at Cobb so you and your Protune are in good hands.
