What about rev hang and APP response delay ? We are waiting for Tephra X-mods ;-)
I dont think I need todo any more disasm in the throttle maps area, I wanted to understand how they worked and I think I understand enough now, I particularly wanted to find out if smoothing the maps across to 100% of the X-Axis was a good idea - its not...

Yes! This is edm evo.
http://babenko.info/cars/evo/throttle.csv
Some can be fixed using maps, but not all

Awesome information everyone.
I have a question in regards to this though! I had a question recently from someone wishing to have the throttle mapping of "Sport" mode of the SST copied to "Normal" mode.
Has there been any development in differential maps linked to specific modes for the SST versions?

Agree with Ken Barr. cables work great and the cost of replacing a cable is not that much if they do need to be replaced...some of the costs I've seen for FBW problems exceed a thousand dollars in some cases..I don't get it...

Just to be sure I understand correctly, at the end the X axis of the throttle maps is not directly APP but it is related to it, or in general it can be considered as the request coming from a "torque based" model, so we can say a "target torque".
From this (and from rpm) the throttle map gives you the TP you need to obtain that target torque; then, basing on this TP, the BTEL gives you the engine load (=airflow) you need to obtain that target torque and so the boost pressure is adjusted to obtain that load and, at the end, that target torque.
Is this calculation chain correct?
So, this pic (coming from this topic: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...10-thread.html) where on the X asis of the throttle map there's the LOAD is not correct: click here for full size pic.
Just one more question: in the throttle maps and also in the "reactive solenoid max total upward WGDC correction" table, the TPS goes from 0 to 100%; instead in all the other tables (BTEL, reactive solenoid base WGDC, etc) it goes only up to 80.4%: why? Is it the same? I mean, 100% in some tables is the same of 80.4% in others?
Thanks very much for your answers...

Instead, about the "calculation chain" from APP (or requested torque, let's say) to throttle position and engine load, what I've written is quite correct...?
Thanks

Don´t mean to be a PITA but has somebody found anything about how DBW works on the X. I´m interested in tuning it, if it is possible, but have no info on how it works to begin with...
Thanks!
Thanks!
