I need help. Does anybody know if i have to program my Etacs since mine got bad. I bought a used one but now that is install. It says SYSTEM ERROR. Please help do i have to take it to someone to program the new one to my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Gts? Thanks

You will need to code your VIN number into the new ETACS after which you need to code the variant of your car. Hopefully you have a backup (.kon file) of your ETACS variant. Otherwise your next best bet would be to find another car with the same factory fitted options and transmission. Read it's ETACS variant's settings, save it and use it to write onto your ETACS.
