If you're registering knock counts, your ECU is pulling timing. Plain and simple. Knock count = amount of knock after taking into account the knock filters configured in the ECU.

bringing this back, im getting knock counts when i shift almost every gear everytime. my setup and tune is similar to OP. i have stock motor mounts, but possibly could just need a new knock sensor. has anyone played around with the knock sensitivity in ecuflash to reduce or get rid of this? its over 6 counts right after shift before steppingon the throttle again. im on speed density 2.0 with tephra v7

I got a sequence of knock sums from 11-1 yesterday in my MR in the span of 1 second real time, lifting off of a 3rd gear pull, decreasing load. I worried a bit until I saw the log. It was a violent decel until a selected 4th and let it wind down slowly.
