The function of the routine is of more interest. On the plus side, that understanding will lead to a scaling formula that will make more sense visually.... the journey is the destination.

I am glad that Bryan comes out and says it. I am not afraid of saying that I DO NOT KNOW how something works or if the tables in ECUflash are accurate or not. Uncertainty is the path to knowledge, at least for me.
ECUflash used to list 3 BDEL/WGDC tables for the Evo 8/9, now it lists two. The idle table for the Evo 9 was wrong. And I suspect that these airflow/torque numbers will be corrected, because the same numbers in tables intended to do two different functions does not make sense.

That is what I am getting at. There is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to these tables. No one knows what is going on. No one knows if the numbers in the tables are accurate or not.

Things i know for a fact:
- How to set them
- how to avoid any P1XXX codes
- What the Airflow limiter is and does
- What the Torque Limiter is and does
- How to get the MR to "lock up" better on shifts :-p
- What the real numbers are

How to avoid 12xx codes even on 600+hp cars.........check
What device the airflow limiter is determined by.....check
What device controls the triggering of the torque limiter ...check
What the real numbers are.......check......
Checkitty check!!
Ecutek has alot of the stuff right, I only use Ecutek and Cobb to tune evo 10s at this point :-)

EcuFlash has had Ralliart tuning for months now, Cobb is still working on it.

IIRC, the values max out @ 255, correct?
I have a feeling they're just arbitrary numbers, just like I've seen in so many maps in so many tuning setups over the years.
So in other words, if you had a value of 127 in one of the cells, it would be roughly 50% of the max. What exactly that means, OTOH, I can't tell you.

I got another method for disabling this to test - see
