cable for evo x tuning

cable for evo x tuning

i have a cable that will plug up to my laptop and to the obd2 port on my evo. is the tactrix cable special and do i have to have it or can i just use the one i have. the cable came off of my diesel downloader. here is a pic of the cable.

you need the correct cable. That one will not work.

Because the tactrix cable is not just a cable, it's an entire interface. You can argue all you want, but I'm telling you, 100% it won't work.

evoscan is designed to work with a J2534 compatible cable.

ecuflash is designed to work specifically with a Tactrix OP2.0 cable.

you cable isn't an OP2.0 so it work work.
