all of a sudden I started getting upto 16KS in cruise...

reduced timing, flashed to stock.. nothing helped.

well today for the first time in 1 month I got a log without knock higher than 3KS... very weird...

Presumably the knock was false?

Have we seen any instances of false knock on X's? Of course their is the normal bits of lift off knock and such. But I mean something more persistent and mechanical.

I did a compression test on all four cylinders after driving for 30 minutes. The engine was hot. So the compression was all 4 cylinders at 145PSI. So it looks like compression is okay. I swapped the relay with the green and everything is normal again. I also did a ECU reset. cruise LTFT are about -0.1 and on decel/idle about -6.2. The car actually now richens to 10's (as low as the AEM wideband reads) So everything looks dandy now. No knock. I attached the last two logs I did both 30 min sessions. Everything looks good, except when I get into boost it dips into 10's and then slowly goes to 12's then 11's for AFR. This is the most messed up **** I have ever seen. I switched relays before everything stayed the same, now everything is back to normal. One thing I noticed is I update the COBB AP to some new BETA that came out a day or two ago. So I don't know if it wasnt a software issue.
