2008+ Evo X AEM EMS

Hey Guys,

Is anyone currently running the Series 2 Plug & Play Engine Management System for the 2008+ Evolution 10's?

I know they have it on their website and a vendor on evom told me they have one for my 2008 GSR but was told by turbotrix (shop sponsored by AEM) that it is not out for sale yet.

Any insight would be appreciated

It does not exist yet. Last I heard they were working on the necessary harness connector. The cars using an AEM EMS are using a universal box with lots of custom wiring. Some in conjunction with the stock ECU to varying degrees.

Cosworth has a full standalone ECU that should be released about any day now. Street price will be over $3k for the box. It will be the most powerful of the various ECUs available I think.

Haltech will have one next after that, similar to what they do for the Skyline and 350Z. It will be more in the $2k range since Haltech leaves throttle plate control and a few other things still up to the stock ECU.
