Your idle is causing a mis-fire code. It is most likely something simple that you are over looking. Like I said, pull the plugs, check them, re-gap to .024 and give that a shot. Have you boost leak tested the car?

Which upper IC pipe do you have again? A few cars have ripped the coupler that connects the upper IC pipe to the turbo outlet and you can not see the rip until you take the pipe off of the car.

What intake is on the car? Do you have a shield on the intake?

Did you check the fuel pump relay? That could part of the issue if your pump relay is going bad. "All of a sudden" problems are generally some form of part failure if no other changes have been made.

Not this problem - the idle hesitates no metter whether runnig gas or LPG (both using independent fuel rails and injectors)

I wouldn't worry that yet. It might be simple plug issue or fuel issue. Try clear that code and see if that throws again.

Check stock cat core. Those thing can melt down and could cause idle issue. But sounds like you've done pretty much. Idk if cobb AP can fully control stock ECU at idle (I'm new to evo). if its not, I would start make a plan to take it to local tuner, see if tuner can play with stock ECU.

This problem just occurred, I think It is safe to say on my part that it is not tune related.

yea, a lot of evos with open element intakes have idling problems..... It could be since you're getting into the colder time, that you're using your heater/defroster more, and the fan is blowing into the intake. Even with a tune, that'll cause your engine to idle funny.

I also have AMS intake with a sheild, and still have that issue. I just dont run the AC/heat when I dont need it.... and then accept the silly idle issue when it does it.
