Got trouble with ECU for Evo X JDM

Tried reading ECU from EVO X JDM, first by using Ecuedit, later with Ecuflash 1.42. Both get interrupted, show an error and give no effect.
I tried multiple times, as a result, my Evo won't even start now.
Any ideas about this? How do I solve the problem with starting the car?

I did that you said, but there are same error:
[16:25:42.890] -- connecting to kernel --
[16:25:42.890] kernel get version
[16:25:43.718] interface close
[16:25:43.750] interface close

Is there other suggestions?

You need to first work out what the stock ROMID is.

Is this car an import from JDM?

Ask SiC what JDM ROMID is meant to be.

If this is a 2008 model GSR then the stock ROM would be 52360016 or 52360018, if it's a 2009 then it would be 54560002.

Seems weird that it wouldn't start after just trying to read the ROM. Maybe a problem with Ecuedit, is it even compatible with the EvoX?

When you turn the key to the ON postition does the radiator fans turn on? If so, it must be stuck in programing state as mentioned above. Try loading a stock 52360018 and try to exit programing state. If successful, try to write that 52360018 to the ECU (with ECUFlash of course).

The recovery method on the openecu site doesn't work while the ecu is on the vehicle. You have to do this on a bench to make it work.

It is 2008 GSR. The radiator fans turned on when key at the ON position.
Can you send me 52360018 rom and xml? I didn't find it
Thank you for your help!

yeah thats programming mode.

you should definatley be able to open ANY EvoX ROM.

then just choose "exit programming mode" from the menu. (with the IGN on obviously)

no wires should need to be changed.

ensure that "Atlernate flash recovery mode" IS NOT selected in the options.

try it again - turn ign OFF - wait 15 seconds - turn ign ON, and QUICKLY do the "Exit programming mode"

load up any stock ROM - try a 52680020 as well

double check you are NOT on "alternate flash recovery mode"
