paramname=RPM
paramid=0x21
scalingrpn=x,31.25,*

conditionrpn = RPM,2500,>
action = start
;
conditionrpn = RPM,2000,<
action = stop

need to have the paraname=RPM part befor the start stop function

Got a new one though to log WOT, starts at 96% TPS and stops less than 2500rpm

What are you having trouble with, the start/stop function, or just logging in general

That's pretty screwy. It looks fine from the text file you uploaded... but the OP2.0 is *****ing.

Only two things come to mind...

(1) Some weird line-feed issue with your text file (DOS vs. non-DOS). Not likely - I don't think the OP2.0 gives a hoot.

(2) Really old firmware on the OP2.0 that doesn't understand "mrmacan" format.

I'm putting my money on (2). You could try the firmware update trick from EcuFlash. Look it up, but from memory, you run up a recent EcuFlash, connect the OP2.0, then select "Licensing" from the topbar menu. I don't think you actually have to DO anything in that option... just selecting it kicks off a firmware update to the OP2.0.

For what it's worth, I used EcuFlash 1.43.3150 to do my OP2.0 firmware update. It's a bit old, but the firmware it delivered to the Tactrix box works fine for logging.

How does one get the correct time and dates for the log files?

I've also recently realised that I cannot use the Tactrix Open Port cable to read or flash a car if the micro SD card is left in.
I'm not sure if I could before either

That's because you have the latest firmware, Tephra.

I've always been able to flash with SD in too. (maybe I got the latest beta firmware when I got it, but that was right after it came out)

There is no battery in the OP2.0, so it will lose time/date each power down. I suggested that they use the most recent date any file was saved and increment from there but it was not implemented to my knowledge (at least you would have *some* reference then).

There is some funky way to get it to remember something along the lines of never removing power and plugging your laptop into it. I've seen newer dates in my files.... but it doesn't help that (I think) the power is cut to it after 10 minutes of ignition off.
