I got alot of problems like limp mode,the car idles alot after i push it hard,sometimes when i push the car it shut off alone,also when we were tuning we saw that the airflow in the screen was 0 doesn't change at all,while everything was ok, so am having hard time with the stock ecu.

as far as i know motec pnp only works with GSR's and it has to be tweaked cos it's meant for RS models. yeah the stock ecu does a fine job !

@UAE_EVOX

Are you sure you want to give up things like A/C, S-AWC, etc... and go with a standalone?

If it were me I'd try to get one of the reputable Evo tuners to come take a crack at it (e.g. HBSpeed, GST...) I know Jon@HBSpeed was talking about making a trip out here (he's in CA) if there were customers (I'm in for sure.) I'd sooner spend $1000 to fly him out here, then go with a standalone that deletes a lot of features that make our cars fun/livable/safe on the street and track.

You need to make a visit to Denver. The tuning situation here is abysmal. I can't tell you how many cars I see running around with the a page-long list of mods and some back alley tune (or none at all.) I actually suggested to the OP that he contact you a while back.

Hell, shipping it somewhere could be an option as well...

No offense, I would have to say it's most likely your tuner. There are guys out there making crazy numbers with the stock ecu. It can be done.

Peak numbers are not everything. The stock ECU cant be mentioned a same level with a MOTEC.
ANd also the MOTEC has a ACD ECU too if you really want to go all out

Also yes they have plug and play ECO from motec but on stock car or low level modifications it is pointless. Only is worth the money if you do a major changes on the engine.

depends on your purpose.

but for a street car, MOTEC is a waste of time and money
