Motec 800 plug 'n play evo x
hey uae,
right now the m800 isn't available for the GSR. I tried to buy the full system for my x this last summer and because motec is playing it safe they are unwilling to claim that the m800 for the RS is compatible with the GSR. Last news was that motec has provided an m800 to aem to develop and test for the gsr but there have been no progress updates on the project.

But im sure as soon as you tell them you will get the ACD unit too, you will be able to get it.
I am not sure how the rules work in CO, but in TX a car with any pnp ecu will fail inspection. That alone would keep me from getting it. At 36 if a mod throws a CEL or I have to go to " A guy someone knows" I just don't do it anymore. You can make great power with the stock ECU and mods that don't cause issues. Like everyone said you might want to try a different tuner before you take this route.
the ACD was to be part of the purchase. The reasoning had a lot to do with xtra features in the gsr that were never to be part of the rs i.e. air conditioning and some electrical features. Motec wasn't willing to release the setup until they were %100 that the systems were compatible.
To add some info for UAE,
M800 OEM for X is working on RS cars with rear LSD diff together with MDC2.
You can't install yet only the OEM without the MDC2 because both of them sharing and produce CAN bus signals for the ETACS ecu and the instrument cluster.
For GSR you can install both of them and keep functionality of everything(ABS,A/C, etc.)except from the AYC control valves which means no more S-AWC.If you convert your rear diff to RS LSD then you can adjust ACD with MDC2 however you like.Sometime there will be an OEM release to use with AYC without MDC2.
With M800 logging you can log all the signals from the engine sensors and the MDC2 sensors such as sterring angle, wheel speeds,G meters, yaw rate, diff lock etc.
Better not discuss about prices for a full setup

thnx everybody...but i have frndz who's saying that the cobb tunning will solve ur problem..but here in CO, i didn't find a good tuner they are good for 8's and 9's but for x dnt thnk so,also i wanted to install a kelford stage 2 with valve springs and all the shops saying that you need to pay $1500 for installing them because they need to open the head to install them it sucks ,the labor is double the cams price

If you're serious PM me
I can supply MoTEC ecu and diff controller if needed. MoTec says that diff controller "MAY" be required. In Subaru case it was needed.
+ We have a guy who can tune this (4 cars done by him were @ X-Games)
Greg
PS he can do everything u need on the stock ECU as well
This car is on M800 ECU ---- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QGmY3hxFYU&hd=1

We have just finished BETA testing the GSR units for MoTeC USA. System works great, A/C and S-AWC work, as does the ASC. Currently if you need a box for a GSR you must purchase it through us. Only the m800 box is needed, the standard center diff controller still works. As an option it can be outfitted with an MDC, although the version that is MEANT for the EVO X is not currently technically available, there are a few work arounds that we can do to get one in there.
We currently are building and installing 2 of these GSR systems at the shop and our street class evo now has one as well. In addition to this, it is possible to use an RS box in a GSR, we have done that as well.
