Looking a lot better.

Your AFR might be a lil lean comming into and through peak torque tho.

Sure. Here ya go!

I have an Acer Aspire Netbook, VGA-to-RCA adapter connected to my Pioneer Z110BT. I have a USB Touchpad velcro'ed to the top of the Ashtray. I have it integrated where the laptop boots and hibernates based on the ignition. When EvoScan resumes from hibernate in Windows7, it immediately begins logging to the screen. Zero user interaction.

It has worked out perfectly. You can barley use the normal interface because the resolution is so bad. You can get by but its tough. Once the gauges are up, its perfect. The lower resolution is not noticeable at all. The laptop rest in the door sill between the driver's seat and the door. Since its a netbook, it fits completely down in that space. I have a little pad I velcro around it to secure it. Its really easy to get in and out of the car. That was the other key piece. However, it just stays in the car unless I need to pull it for something. I use a sync program to pull the ECU images and Logs from the netbook so I can review and tweak from my normal computer. It automatically syncs when it has a connection to the internet. I of course have wireless networks available at work and home so once I pull in and park, it associates and syncs the logs and/or ECU images I have tweaked. I'm very happy so far. I had a CarPC in my previous Evo8 and I really like the way I did this one much better.

I'm going to be posting more info soon on the link in my signature.

How do you have it integrated with the ignition?

Wow.... What is going on with your boost??? not max boost till 5000rpm 23psi??? Man You should look into that. Sometime not even till almost 6000rpm @24psi. Knock I would not worry about. Should be max boost around 3000rpms...

Not going lie to you the only thing let some what okay is your AFR's everything else is sh*t on a stick man. Needs a lot of work.

Sorry if I come across being rude but timing is way low and boost needs help man.

Like others have said, your boost looks weird. Most people hit a peak between 3000-4000 rpm's and then taper off at higher rpm. You might be running a bit too much boost at higher rpm's. Adjust your passive WGDC to be more aggressive at lower rpm's so you build boost faster. Also, your timing looks way too low imo. I would go back to a stock timing map and reduce it by 3-4 degrees in the higher rpm/load range (smoothly) and see how it does. Good luck!

If you have your stock rom that has not been touched I would work off of it. Start over my friend. Might try one of gunzo maps from the other forum and work off of it too. Save you a lot of time in adjusting timng, afr, boost etc.

I assume he has some type of dc/ac converter to power the laptop and the laptop power settings configured to suspend when it switches to battery. I like this setup but isn't there a slight delay with the evoscan graphing?

I have a travel laptop brick that takes 12V on one when and laptop voltage on the other. As far as ignition, I use the controller below:

http://www.dashwerks.com/dw_dssc.php

I took apart the laptop and added wires from the power button to 2 unused pins on the RJ45 jack. I have an RJ45 cable going to the above mentioned controller. The controller shorts the wires temporarily when the car is started and shutdown. It also controls a power relay that is directly source from the battery. That is where the laptop brick is connected. I have the netbook hibernate when the car is shutdown. When the car starts, EvoScan starts right back where it left off logging with zero interaction from the user. It worked better than expected.

The delay to the screen is quite minimal. I don't use the graphing in EvoScan. I just use the gauge templates and log to files. I use Excel to do my graphing after the runs. The gauges do update quite fast and it all depends on how many are enabled. The screen updates at least twice a second with all the gauges enabled.

BTW, here's what I have been up to. I grabbed Gunzo's tweaked 93 Octane MR map. I hand merged every table and reviewed all the tables. I did have to use my own WGDC table since I have rescaled it and I use an EBC. I did start over with the WGDC table and I am now making the last little tweaks to my boost.....and all I can say is WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

Tonight I had the fun of tearing up a C6. I started behind him at a stoplight and twice I was able walk him no problem from behind. I did not use any launch control. I was waiting to see if he was going to go. I saw his rear wheels hop a few times, so I slammed the pedal and I just cruised right pass. The second time, it was even worse cause I was anticipating more. It was completely badass and made it all worth it.

I just fell in love with this car all over again........(thanks everyone...sniff...sniff)

Here are my logs from tonight. I'm trying to get rid of that dip between 3200 RPM and 4000 RPM. I would like to hit 23-24 PSI and maintain it as long as I can while staying in a solid AFR.

Man looks a lot better my friend! i would take the EBC off and use the stock ecu to control the boost. But I did not look at all logs but the first one looks 100% better!

I thought the EBC was supposed to be better, but I'm having a hard time getting the boost to be smooth. I haven't given up on the EBC yet though. I'll keep you posted.

3 port with stock ecu control is best way man. Easy tune for. Nothing wrong with ebc but not for me when ecu is safer and better.
