i've done my research and found some "answers" (well answer for evo 8-9s)...saw 1 thread in the meth section about mbt's for the 9 i think, according to that 100% meth can hit mbt's before knock..i haven't seen x's reaching mbt's on stock turbo on meth..i've seen x's stock turbo but with e85 to reach mbt..

my question is, is it possible to reach mbt on 100% meth (well i'm going to run 50/50 but i thought i should ask) on X stock turbo? do you guys have a ballpark figure of the timing at peak torque and redline? need your inputs! thanks

On a related note, might be nice to have a sub-forum for methanol tuning, like the Evo 8/9 forum has.

I've had meth installed for awhile now, but have not tuned for it, so in for any comments

Fairly basic; AEM Methanol 1 gallon tank mounted in trunk, single medium size nozzle spraying in LICP, right before the throttle body.

Snow Performance Safe Injection wired up to the AEM controller, so if it detects an error it tosses itself into wastegate boost. Not really "safe", mind you, as the AEM controller basically only see "low level" and "lol no voltage", but better than nothing.

 

i agree it would be great if we had like a sub forum for the X's with meth.. so tephra are you running dual nozzle setup? love your setup on the tanks man..

hotdog, i know you haven't tuned it, but what afr's are you running now?
