Exclamation ASC / 4WD / ABS Service Required

I'm running a stock 2010 EVO X GSR with less than 6,000 miles. Three days ago the following warnings show up on my display while I'm minding my own business driving on the freeway to work:

ASC Service Required
ABS Service Required
4WD Service Required

ASC OFF

I take it to the dealer as it is still under warranty. They pull the fault codes (there are 9 apparently). They tell me that the battery is bad. After they replaced the battery, 5 of the faults went away leaving the following 4:

U0125 - Sensor cluster CAN timeout
U0251 - AWC CAN(local) timeout
C1290 - Fail safe mode(Lost of CAN data)
U1003 - Sensor cluster Bus-off

Has anybody experienced anything similar? Any ideas? Appreciate any help.

Possibly the first time (not sure). The lights first went on three days ago. Two days ago in the morning the lights were off for the first 10 minutes of my drive then came back on while accelerating on a 45mph road.

So the light goes off when you turn the car off?

The light comes on even after an engine cycle (the car off overnight). It only stayed off ONCE after sitting overnight, and came on shortly thereafter (10 mins).

UPDATE:
Saturday morning the dealer calls me and tells me they need to hold my car through Monday or longer and that the bottom of the car is "severely damaged" and covered in "excessive mud" with mud in the rotors (which is impossible), and inside the transfer case. This is grossly inaccurate. The bottom of the vehicle has a small amount of dirt at the rear as if the vehicle had been driven on a dirt road or on a gravel parking lot (or something similar). I might even take some pictures tonight to show how little dirt there actually is.... stay tuned for that.

They kept telling me that they were not sure if the labor would be covered under the warranty because of the "excessive mud" and would not give me a clear answer when I asked if I would have to pay for the labor. Because they were stringing me along and holding my vehicle hostage as labor costs were increasing that may or may not have been covered, I told them I wanted to pickup my car and didn't want to have anything to do with the way they do business. They threatened to make a note on the vehicle's records stating that I took the car and drove it even after being told it is unsafe to drive. Ironic that when I first brought the car in on Friday morning at 8am they told me there would not be anybody available to look at it for 4 hours and to take it back to them 1 week later and that it would be fine to drive in the meantime! Even more ironic that they turn around and tell me that my vehicle was being worked on ALL day Friday to make me feel bad for them and to justify quoting such a high potential labor cost (500$). On top of that the lady there actually had the gall to tell me on the phone, "if you are so smart, why don't you fix it yourself? why did you bring it to us?" after I told her what I read in the service manual for troubleshooting. After her saying she needs to go ask her manager how much it will cost me to pickup my car, she hung up on me! I was irate and yet somehow remained calm the entire phone conversation.

I go to the dealer in person right after to collect my car and tell them where to stick it basically. More irony: as I roll up they are having some event for Rally Innovations. Lovely that a small amount of dirt under your car voids your warranty, and yet they use RALLY B.S. to market EVOs...

The guy in the service dept is surprisingly nice and helpful and shows me the bottom of the car and even agrees with me that there is no sign of negligence on my part. He even tells me that it isn't up to him whether or not the warranty will cover it and that it was the Mitsubishi rep that made the decision to not cover the work under warranty! Wait a second, I thought they weren't sure if it would be covered or not?! They knew the whole time that they were going to charge me!!

He lets me take the car back at no cost. As I'm going over paperwork with him I ask him for a list of the remaining fault codes so i can take the car somewhere else. As I ask this, the lady (yes the same one on the phone) quietly mutters to him, "Don't give him those. He didn't pay." He ignored her and was very professional. I must give him that at least, unless of course they are working some kind of good cop, bad cop angle (which would not surprise me).

Where should I take my car? Is there a good dealer in the Los Angeles area for service that won't treat me like these people? I'm considering just going to a mechanic / tuner that specializes in EVOs and having them flash my ECU and upgrade my suspension while they are at it. Any recommendations?

As a final note, I wouldn't normally bad mouth a business by name, but I don't want anybody else to go through the same BS I did. Stay away from Puente Hills Mitsubishi Service Dept. I have nothing against their Sales Dept. They were very helpful when I first purchased the vehicle.

SCM. Do NOT accept any alternative.

Only other one I would accept is Riverside. But that might be ways away for you.

I am wondering what caused all these codes to come up.

Bought my car from South Coast.

Took my car to Puente Hills for Fuel Rail and Hood Latch recall no issues so far.

I had those faults on one car, it was all because overboost, because of some failure the car boost was up to 2+ bar and those faults were showing.

Definitely take your car elsewhere to be fixed. Do NOT have a tuner reflash your car hoping the issues will go away. Leave your car stock and make mitsu fix it right!

every mitsu dealership ive ever gone to is garbage here in ohio. i got kind of lucky and found a group of guys who all specialize in evos and help me with any issues, this let me talk to "mitsu rep" is a bunch of ****, i hope mitsu goes down in the U.S and they have to hire new people fire the current. its pathetic how these dealerships work "well we have to wait to see if its covered" its 40k car i never had a question about my corvette when i took it to the dealer. i feel amost as if i made a bad decision buying one because i get so pissed off at dealerships. every one i go to is a bunch of *******s that just throw around numbers and smile like its no big deal.

I had the same problem come up after a clutch install. my ASC service required and S-AWC service required light came on after driving it a couple of miles after getting out of the shop. I'm not sure what happened but i'm almost sure mitsubishi wont cover me since i'm droped on coilovers and installed a clutch. have you fixed your problem yet? I would like to know what went wrong.

Did you bleed the ACD? I believe the mitsu scan tool is required to do that, but that's most likely why your lights came on. The ACD fluid / pump has to be bled after a clutch install, unless you clamped the line really good and didn't get any air into it when you removed the transmission. Most likely, there is some air, and I would get it bled regardless.
