Questions on which Cobb AP map to use

Ok, here is the situation. I have the following mods.

FP Red Turbo (upgraded w/g actuator and ported)
U/L ICP AMS
Intercooler AMS
In line Walbro Fuel System AMS
Short Intake AMS
800 CC DW Injectors
Fuel Rail AMS
Downpipe Widemouth AMS
Test pipe
AMS Race Series Cat Back Exhaust
Forged 100% recirc valve
Halman Manual boost control

I am on a pretty strict training schedule for the next 4 months, no week days available and ton of studying. I don't have the time to take it to a tunning shop in the Fort Rucker Alabama area. I would drive the 900 miles to AMS but I just dont have the time. Forged Performance is only open weekdays also for tunning. I really just need something to keep the Evo running good untill I can get it in for a full tune.

I am looking for a Cobb map the would give me about 28 lbs psi, 93 octane with my current set up. I have looked through the different maps available but I'm not quite understanding which one to go with. I was hoping I might be able to get some feedback and advice.

Thanks for any help.

wish I knew what to tell you other than a custom tune... do you have time to take the car out at all and take some logs, you could get an e-tune through mellon like I did with the AP, car came out great, i'm sure he would work with you and you could just send him logs when you got the chance to take the car out between your busy scheduling.

Yeah, not sure you're going to find anything that will work well, but your best starting point would be Stage II AMS Intake + DW 800 cc injectors. Turn your boost controller way down, though, and for Pete's sake - stay out of boost.

thanks for the heads up. That was the same map I was thinking of starting with as a base. I'll have to get Scott over at Forged Performance in GA to tune it. I just have to find the time to get it up there. Thanks again for the heads up.

Wow this motor is going to blowup without a real tune. Please do not drive this car without a tune.

+1

You should have considered the tuning before strapping on all those parts.

^^^^^^
Calm down guys, the engine has a tune on it. It is tuned for everything on it except for the upgraded fuel pump, thus why i was looking for a base map to start with and go from there. I assure you the engine is not gonna blow. I did think about getting it tuned before the parts were "strapped" on.
