Stock Turbo New Injectors?

Hey,

So I am finally getting ready for my ProTune and have a question...With the stock turbo do I or should I be upgrading my injectors? Will the stock injectors be able to handle fuel needed with a ProTune on the stock turbo?

Part 2: If I need to upgrade to lets say 800cc injectors, do I need to also upgrade my fuel pump?

Please advise!!

Stock injectors should be good. (assuming you are using pump gas)

all depends on mods, and boost. I realize u have a X, and I a IX, but same concept. Im on the stock turbo running ~24psi, and w/ my mods, Im maxing them out by ~ 6000... Just an example.
I would NOT go any lower than 1000cc inj.! later on, u WILL want more powa...

Like Golden said, you will be fine on pump gas. E-85 and you will need upgraded injectors (and pump). If you plan on upgrading the turbo in the future, might be good to upgrade the injectors anyway,.

Well I am running a full T1R Turbo-back along with TurboTrix intake and IC pipe kit with a Cobb AP...Going for a ProTune in a couple weeks, and plan on staying stock turbo for a little while...So I don't want to go over kill right now but want the maximze my set up while keeping it reliable...Its a daily driver/spirit driver so I'm trying to walk the fine line =)

OK, and what type of fuel are you going to be using??? 91oct or E85?

Like everyone else said, normal 91 pump gas, stock injectors are fine. E85 ethanol, need to upgrade injectors.

E85 will REQUIRE larger injectors...

91 or 93 you should be fine (just) with the stockers on stock turbo...
