Hi,
I flash my GSR 08 EDM with the 53040010 rom (original was 53040007), it works fine, but there are a few things, that i miss in the definitions.

I want to change the Idle rpm, but changing only the Table's
-Idle RPM #X vs Coolant Temp
-Target Idle #X
makes no difference.
I change every value that is under 900, but the idle is always between 650-715

I think, i need a definition with :
-Idle speed in neutral
-Idle speed in gear

Are there any solutions?

Thx all...

Thx tephra,

IT WORKS
Stable Idle at 950rpm.

So, does it mean, the definitionfile for 53040010 that i did download was a wrong xml or only the part of the idle tables?

My 53040007.hex is a tuned map, so can i copy all the new values from my old tuned map to the new 53040010.hex with the current definition file?

Greetz and thx again..

could have been wrong - I would go back and start with the ROM before you changed the bad idle defs...

I dunno where you got your original XML from so I can't say

You should be able to copy all your tuned tables across, BUT PLEASE check for good AFR and no knock preferably on a dyno

Unfortunately the next few weeks, i have no AFR sensor.
So, i better go back to 53040007 for the next time, before i finally change to 53040010.

So i have one request more
Are there a XML file with working Idle options for 53040007 ?

The XML File on Goldenevo doesn't have any Idle option.

ps: The XML file 53040010 was also from Goldenevo

Not all my definitions have Idle. I hate finding idle tables.

How did you do it? It's simple than upload an 53040010.hex?
I asked for it before but ...

Download the xml from golden's site and put it in your XML directory (overwrite the other files or back them up in a non rommetadata directory).

I'm having USDM ECU 1860A979 and want to remove vipor sensor, I dont have it in fuel pump.

Do you think they are HW incompatible? Can I flash it with MUT-3 provided I have the right firmware?

PS: I have custom project with Evo parts

What is the difference between MT or SST ECUs, e.g. 1860A979 vs. 1860A980? Is it possible to flash MT bin to the other without issues? Any info on ECUs compatibility?
