Cobb access port??

When i was looking into STI's i noticed that just about all STI's had a cobb access port but i don't see to many on evo X's. Is there a reason for this, or am I just not seeing them because people don't take pictures of them as much lol?

The reason we don't run the Cobb as much as Scubies is because we have Tephra. Seriously, if he wasn't here to help the community, I think we would all be running the Cobb AP. And an honorable mention to Hamish, who codes EvoScan for us.

I think the other reason if the proliferation of "lighter mods" for Subarus. Given the fact their community is an order of magnitude larger, the number of people doing "Simple" mods like TBE exhausts and then, well, not much else, is greater, giving Cobb a larger audience.

The whole "Stage 1", "Stage 2" thing is a well known catch phrase over there, due to the knowledge of Cobb maps.

so is the harman stage 2 evo x kit not a good bang for the buck? you will have to excuse my noobness, i have never had a car that needed tuning before so i am not really sure how it all works.

I have the basic idea, ie when you have enough mods you need to run a different tune to get the most power/mpg ect.

I have to cobb ap and love it!!!!!! And to be able to do all the things i.e. boost gausge,dyno,1/2 mile times, 0-60 times,CEL emliminator, more than 20 different tunes for multiple set ups....Imo it give you some room to grow and if you want more than what they offer online you can always take it to a AP tuner and get them to customize your tune. Best mod I have in my car imo

for me the AP has been a VERY useful tool and has many functions and abilities for people like me who don't know much about what they are doing.

Locally, most of us use cobb ap or are running the gunzo tune. We're pretty limited in tuning options.
