How accurate are the readings on a AEM UEGO?
I have an AEM UEGO wide band o2 gauge in my car. I just wanted to find out how accurate are the readings on that gauge. It was reading different numbers compared the the dyno AFRs. But the dyno was reading AFR from the exhaust tip. So which numbers should I rely on?
The AEM should be spot on.
Do you have a cat? They will mess with an O2 sensor (the one on the exhaust tip).
Exhaust tips can read leaner because they can suck some fresh air in. They also have more delay because they are so far from the engine.
