x2 Check the timing marks... might be off a tooth. Happened more than once on these and the other boards... car idled like poop, the cams were off a tooth or two.

I think I'm going to pull cover off and take a look. Now that I've done it once it's not so bad. Crap. As for blow through, never had many issues. I could have mounted it on the 4 inch intake but the resolution would probably be pretty bad and that certainly doesn't help idle.

Ok so the question is, was the car in blow-through before you did all of this? If so, did it idle ok? Then that might make that less of a possible issue.

Well after chasing ghosts actually turned out it was the injectors that was the issue. I have the stock ones back in and the car running pretty well. Not perfect but sounds healthy and idling stable at 1000 RPM. I am however, getting P0011 and P0014 for cams too advanced. Anyone else getting this? They are VERY aggressive camshafts compared to others. There is a learn procedure for cam timing which is possible with Mitsu scan tool. Suggestions?

Intake mivec dont go less than 10 in the map and more than 0 for exh.
That will be the physical zero of the cams.
If you go out that limits maybe thats why you get P0011 and P0014.
Can you confirm that?

I'll give it a try later today. I don't think exhaust has anything greater than 0 but intake might be a bit off. Now keep in mind all cams are different and don't think too many people are running JUN 272's. They are much bigger than anything else I've seen.

if you put the stock injectors in and the idle smoothed out then maybe the tune was the issue with the larger injectors.

The injectors were one problem yes. I do have another though which I'm tracking down now. Have the stock ones in there for now. I may have bad coil or a wiring or ground issue. Not sure yet.

what if anything changes i make for it to become better at idle doesnt make a difference? Had vacuum loss so i retard the intake to see if i get any difference, nothing.

The car just idles at 750-850 rpms and then after a while just dies. I tried raising idle, doesnt work.

help!

You need to make openloop by load for 0-1500 rpm. AFR = 12.5-14.0 (diffrent for diffrent cams).
at 0-40 load and 0-1500 rpm. Timing 11-17 (diffrent for diffrent cams) at 0-40 load and 0-1500 rpm. Intake mivec 0-10 (0 for cold table), ex - 0 in the same part.
And some increase in idle rpm.
JUN is really problem (by idle) cams.
