HELP!! ECU tuning question??

I was wondering if anyone can help...

my car's ECU was locked when I went to get a tune and i didn't know why. I bought the car used but it was stock so I didn't know why it couldn't be tuned. I just finally got the previous owners number and asked him if he got a tune before and he used COBB ACCESS PORT and didn't unmarry.

Does anyone know if there's a way to unlock the ECU with out the Access port? a way to unmarry?

would having Mitsubishi re-flash the ECU work? thank youu for your help...

You will have to Bench your ECU and flash using ECUFlash's "alternate flash mode"

A few threads on it

it means what it means... You need to either
a) make a ECU Bench wiring harness as described : https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...h-process.html
b) find someone local to you that has the above harness made up and get them to bench your ecu for you
c) goto cobb and get them to unlock the ECU for you...

I doubt whether Mitsu can reflash it either.
