I heard about issues with these but this was the first set we had personally seen ever.
I have used these in a WRX and had no real issues with them @ all...

Yeah, we think the Injectors are creating the Idle issues we are having on the MR-T...Those *****es are loud! Funny thing is, I haven't had any issues with my 1000cc DW's, but those 1300cc's seems to be a hit or miss. I think we are going to try to swap them for 1000cc's and see if it solves the problem.

Did you have an issue with delkats 1300cc's?

Bryan keeps tweaking. We seem to have improved the erratic lean to rich oscillation on the highway. It still seems to do it under light load in the lower gears but not as bad. The idle is still all over the place. It's lean then rich/800 RPM bouncing around and then 1300.

Do you remember what MAF calibration you were using on that car?

I'm not sure what Bryan came up with and I'm unfamiliar with what table impacts MAF Cal in my ROM. I know he's been tweaking this and I do have an AEM intake.

I was noticing yesterday that the afrs seem to be much more stable when the fuel relay is kicked over 12v. Could it be that these are strugggling with the lower 43 psi I get on my fuel pressure guage at idle? Anyone know how I could quickly force the pump to stay at 12v?

Threw in a jumper im now getting 59 psi all the time. After my first test drive I think I can almost live with these injectors now. Idle is much more stable, and it definately smoothed out the afr at criuse. Ill keep working on it and post back.

You'll probably want an afpr since the stock fpr can't handle the flow and 59psi is way too much at idle. I'm not sure what the limits of the stock return line is but you'll certainly be blowing fireballs with that kind of pressure.

I'm having *identical* problems with ID2000 injectors. My AFRs vary from 12-18 at cruise...it's absolutely intolerable when it leans out and lugs the car. The DW800 and 1000's have both been flawless. I just ordered up a set of 1300's and now I read about the problems that people are having with them. Shoot me now!

I'm not saying it is a DW problem...we may be seeing an ECU issue. The new Tephra settings for latency were a huge improvement over the last time that I tried the big ID's.

So how many people have gotten these to work in an Evo X pefectly? My DW1000's were awesome, and I have some DW1300's (really 1400's) waiting to go in.

I am getting a little nervous about getting these to work properly, I know DW sent out a few sets for BETA and they seemed to work fine. Were they not an Evo X's or something? I really don't want any problems with my motor build...if I get any gremlins, kiss the rest of the year goodbye for driving weather.

You will know as soon as the injectors go in, the car will sound like a diesel and lope like it has cams.

The bad sets have been VERY loud. You can hear them from an easy 100ft across a parking lot.

Any way to test them outside the car? I'd prefer not to flood a perfect, brand new built motor.

So you have confirmed that some work great and others just don't work? So this isn't an ECU issue, with not having some tables defined yet or something?

Good question, unfortunatly I do not have an answer.

Some have worked in that they don't sound like a diesel with a collapsed lifter idling on 3 cylinders.

Trust me you will know if they are bad. There are no "I think I can tune this out" thoughts in your head, and yes, I tried just because I was curious.

Maybe some people won't mind clacking diesel sounding injectors?

I don't give two hoots about sounds as long as they work and flow 1400cc's, my exhaust setup is awfully loud so i never hear sounds others complain about.

I guess I will let everyone know how they work out.
