I've been looking into getting the COBB Tune for my Evo X GSR but a shop told me that the software will not hold the tune for very long??? That worries me as I thought the COBB AP was one of the best tuning systems on the market for the Evo X??? COBB or any other experienced member here, can u guys clarify on this one? I'm almost leaning to just getting mine reflashed because of this... Anyone???

The ECU cannot "lose" a tune. It's like download a program onto your computer, once it's on there it is on there until you erase or change it. This is a permanent flash until you either uninstall the AccessPORT or flash on a different map. The AccessPORT is a reflash device so it writes a new tune to your ECU. It does not have to stay plugged in, you can flash on a new map and then put it in your glove box and the tune stays put!
