Found some right-angle USB cables for Tactrix users

Right-angle USB cables help prevent snags that can rip the cable out of the tactrix dongle and/or the dongle out of the OBD port. After ripping my Tactrix out a couple times I went looking for a solution and remembered hearing about other people using these.

ebay:

I also found these right-angle adapters on Amazon:

I use the swivel connectors that come with accessports, or did. They work awesome.

I wasn't having a problem kicking the cable so much as kicking the whole OP2.0 (size 13 shoe). I got the right angle extender from tactrix, zip tied it above the factory location and ran the cable into the glove box.

^ This, works like a charm, I use that setup for every 10/RA I tune.

I ordered a regular OBD II extension cable. I broke my USB port on the Tactrix twice!

I've also got size 13 feet, so I know what you mean.

I kicked mine pretty hard recently and my USB port suffered some damage. Did you have to send you dongle back to Tactrix for repairs?

I flipped the OBD2 port in my car. It is VERY easy to do, and takes about 15 minutes. You can then install your tatrix onto it through the fuse door, and it will NEVER be kicked again.

I use this when tuning other peoples cars that don't have a flipped port:

I just popped mine out and installed it at a 90* angle pointing toward the fire wall.
