Did the OP buy a test pipe without an extra bung?

 

OP here. Took it to Midas and they can't do it. Took it to another muffler shop in town and they only mig weld. Bunch of dimwits we have here in my town. So I had to call a performance tuner shop to recommend me a welding expert. This shouldn't take a genius.

 

Maybe we are miss-reading this royally screwed thing. Maybe he means royally screwed by that new princess chick Kate Middleton?

If you have expensive or uncooperative muffler shops in your area, check out the AEM No-Weld O2 sensor bung gizmo. Part number 30-2355-300 (for a 3" exhaust pipe) The street price is about $40.

Also, you can easily plain old steel wire MIG weld a SS bung to a SS exhaust pipe. It wont look cute but it wont fall off either.
