Evo X No Crank No Start

Had my first major kafuffle with my X today.

It currently powers up, I can flash in and out with tactrix cable, and when I attempt to start with the key forwards, I hear a relay click, but the starter does not engage. I tested the starter realy, its okay, I jumped the start realy, and the car would turn over, but not fire. I tried push starting it, and it would not apply fuel or ignition.

I feels like the ecu is not sending the start signal to the relay box, or applying the ignintion/fuel. I am assuming the imobilizer is pissed off.

I was at work, just did an oil change, and did the maintenance reminder reset with ign off, pressing the info button a few times. Reset the maintenance schedule after pusshing a few buttons for a while. I also removed the ecu to look at it, and placed it back in to the car.

I did a 20 minute power cable reset, I succesfully did a recovery flash and now had to leave the car and work and walk home >:

Has anyone had an issue close to mine? I am reading the tech manuals and wiring manuals, and will try again tomorrow to help fix my car.
With my 3-port setup, I am pretty sure I voided any warranty that I had

i'd bet something went wrong during flashing process ie. flashed or messed tables which are not properly defined or a corrupted rom ... ecu's bricked

1. does the fans keeps on turning while power is on ?
2. if it is then it's bricked.
3. take the ecu out and bench it then you should be able to re-start and drive home

spme screen shots, error codes, clearer description will help you out. post it up.

try charging your battery.

even though voltage may be within spec, the cold-cranking-amperage of the battery may be shot.

this happened to me about a month ago... small battery, extreme cold. left it on a charger for 2 hours and it has been fine since.

Did you check the clutch-to-start cable (starter interrupt switch)? I assume if the car is actually turning over that it is not a battery issue (derekste's issue involved a rapid clicking / partial engagement of the starter but jumping the starter would have proved thats not the case if the engine actually moves).

When you jumped the starter was the key in the "on" position?

This sounds exactly like I had with my EvoX. and since this thread is the top hit on google for EvoX no crank. I thought I would share my experience...

Using EvoScan v3.1 software and openport 2.0 cable, evoscan showed me a dtc code that wasn't on the dash.

it was due to a little black transponder id chip inside the key that had fallen out. and the ignition key lock could not detect it. also I have seen it where the VIN mismatch same thing, no crank with no start,

i.e. so maybe one of your vehicle ecus is not starting. and the immobilizer does not like that. so basically the immobilzer does exactly this,, sounds like dead battery, but its just the immobilizer ecu or etacs ecu or kos ecu has cut access to the starter motor.
