Thank you for the info. I think that without temperature compensations, certainly the Airflow tables are not much useful.

Even without temperature compensations, if we could switch some sets of the Airflow tables as temperature goes hotter/colder, these tables would be a little more useful than now.

I guess I don't understand why you wouldn't just disable the tables and be done with it.

 

If it puts the car in limp mode it will restrict WGDC to 0%, wastegate boost and cuts throttle percentage depending.

I agree with you and Tephra, there is really no reason *not* to disable these. The notion that these are safety features is absurb in my book. Tune the car correctly and there are other safety nets that Evo's all before the 10 have been using just fine.

If anything, these can become a liability, go to pull out into a main street and see a 5 ton truck coming your way, you step on it from low RPM, higher gear, and pop, limp mode. You aren't getting out of that trucks way very quickly at wastegate boost and cut throttle percentage.

 

100% agree with Byran and tephra on this, disable the damm things and get on with the tuneing.
They are just an ongoing liability, which can leave you or your missus in a BAD place with no power/escape clause.
