Clutch Installed, now my Tune seems to be gone?

Just wondering if a tune can be deleted if the battery is disconnected? I just got my Clutch installed and now my boost hits 12psi, it was tuned at 18 and was working up until after the clutch install. If not what Are some other things to check? Even my low end power feels alot less than when it was before the clutch was put in... It was an Open ECU tune b.t.w....I Called the tuner but he wasn't in and the mechanic said he'd ask him and let him know, Also called the guy who installed my clutch and he said if it may have been deleted, some evos might delete others wont?? But usually it wouldn't as the open ecu tune permanently changes the ecu unless you re tune it.

thanks in advance for any help

no. my WRX has 2 maps and when the battery is disconnected for a period of time it will default to the first map instead of the fun 2nd map.

May I ask why you were tuned to 18psi? Thats lower than stock, if we're talking about the X.

WRX's utilise two type, a "base" map and "real time" map (AccessPORT). If you have both flashed, and reset the ECU, the "base" map remains and "real time" is gone. A different concept than the Evo.

To OP, if you are able, can you read the ROM? In all probability, it's most likely a mechanical issue. In either case, your expected target PSI, it still low. Should be ~22 PSI (stock).
