Nope, it takes the signal coming from the car and bumps it form 14v to 17.5v. See how I have the wiring at the pump? Blue wire coming from the car's harness runs off to the input of the BAP, then the outlet from the BAP runs to the blue wire to power the pump.

The only other thing to wire is the ground, I used the battery ground on the evo and mounted it right next to it. Not sure where would be good for the ralliart.

+1 this is what I will be doing on my Weldon setup.

Bryan...it may be easier to go to an aeromotive pump if you dont plan on going much further with your car. Just a thought.

The Aeromotive needs more juice to work well (BAP or straight wire). From what I have seen, just dropping it in, it's not much better than a standard Walbro.

I also don't fully trust these "new" pumps from some inside information I have. I'm waiting to see how they work out before I make the leap.

Bryan if you didn't see the other thread (or for anyone looking in the future) we think pin 51 out of the ECU could be your awesome BAP trigger:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ng-adivce.html

Then again we still don't know what ECU parms control the switchover.

i've had both id1000s and fic1100s. they are not the same injector body. on my 9 running e85, the fic1100s scale in at a bit over 100 cc/min higher than id1000s.

i'm just about ready to upgrade to 500+ whp and have been looking at fuel system options. i plan to stay on the fic1100s, add an aeromotive fpr, add a custom fuel pump rewire that maintains the low voltage mode, and either add a bap or aeromotive 340 pump.

I'll add that we currently have a set of fic1100 injectors on 3dman1's Evo 10 along with a boomba rail, a double pumper and an adjustable fpr set to 50 psi base pressure. we are running out of fuel right at 530 wheel horsepower dynojet. rpm is a bit under 8000.

BAP seems like a pretty expensive option now that I seen prices.

Why not look into a double pump setup?

So mild update to this.

I lowered the boost since the original post issue and obviously the IDC's went down and I no longer had issues with IDC's maxing out going through the gears.

However, now that the outside temps are dropping the issue has come back up. IDC's maxing out when going through the gears, even at the lower boost level...

Saw 14 AFR at WOT in 4th today on my morning WOT on-ramp...

Ugh...

I can run 26 psi through the gears on a FP red with a single walbro and FIC's 1100 on e85 ,so those injectors should give you the head room you need with your turbo , unless you plan on upping the boost some more. I can show you the logs if you want.

What IDC? Flat 26psi? I just go crazy static and run out of fuel and lean out to 14 AFR like the first post in this thread.

Yes I would love to see the logs.
