Need halp asap LEAN WOT !!!

My DD is at a tuner. I got a new LICP that was installed along with the stock diverter valve put back on. Did a pull. Extremely lean WOT. Car not getting any fuel under load. Ordered new Walbro pump. Same situation. Did the recall and upgraded to 4 blue relay fuses and the grey MFI relay. Slapped them in and still same situation. The injectors should be good considering I am on stock turbo. I don't have any numbers to share on the ratio, but I am working with the information I have. Can this be a potential boost leak? The tuner is going over the car from top to bottom. We did pickup a 5 gallon gas drum as well to look into the half talk issue. No dice. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated! I've been on a loaner car and $$$ is starting to staaaaaaack :/

Fuses may have been put in the wrong spot by the original guy. Tuner saw the mistake and redid them. Just got a call it was running pig rich.
Replace those black relays with the blue ones people! and change up mfi to grey and be safe

Installed an ETS intake and those relays last week. MPG waaaay down. Bitter sweet safety net...or it might be that I boost more than usual now XD lot smoother at WOT too.

Did you get anything in the mail about those relays or did you read it on here?
I was lucky the mitsu dudes gave up the relays to the guys at the shop without a hassle, for no charge, and without me being present.

I wish I was that lucky :/ I was worried about leaning up the car before getting the intake without tune so I did some research and found the relay issue here so I bought them at SSP for 70 bucks. Warranty was up on my car when I bought it so no luck from Mitsu. Glad I bought them though, definitely worth the piece of mind.

Will the dealership replace them at no charge if the car is still in warranty? If so, will they replace just the fuel pump relay or all 4 relays? I currently have the green replays but want to switch to the blue...

OP is quite lucky. When I went to the dealer to purchase the relays, they couldn't find them under the Evo. I had to give them the part number.

Yeah, if you go to the dealer you should probably bring the TSB with you. Don't know the number but it's pretty easy to find on here.

I have attached the PDF

Just print it and show them.
Includes the model #s

Remember this isn't a mandatory recall, so you may end up paying for the relays.
Mines seemed to become defective when making more power than stock.

3x blue relay = p/n 8627A024
1x grey mfi relay = p/n: MR400709

PURPOSE
Some affected vehicles may experience any or all of the following DTCs and/or symptoms after the vehicle
is operated in very cold weather (approximately −22o F (−30oC) or colder) after a short drive (5 − 10
minutes) followed by a 15 − 20 minute cold soak.
DTC MIL Status Relay Symptom
P0657 ON ETV Engine torque is limited
P1590 ON A/T (CVT) Limp Home Mode
U0101 ON A/T (CVT) Limp Home Mode
None OFF STARTER Engine will not turn over
U0100 OFF MFI Engine will not start
P0201 − P0206 OFF Injector Engine will not start
This condition is caused by condensation freezing inside the relay, rendering it inoperative. Should you
suspect very cold weather has caused this condition in an affected vehicle, follow the procedure below
to identify and replace described relays with modified parts.

*Of course fails to mention fixing the AFR

AFFECTED VEHICLES
2007−10 Outlander (2.4L 4 cyl & 3.0L V6) built prior to November 16, 2009.
2008−10 Lancer, built prior to November 16, 2009.
2008−10 Lancer Evolution built prior to November 16, 2009.
2009−10 Lancer Sportback built prior to November 16, 2009.

Even though it says, 2008−10 Lancer Evolution built prior to November 16, 2009... I've seen 2011s with 1 green relay for the fuel afr and the rest were all black.
Replace them all
