So I have this problem where when in a roll or from a dig my car initial boost spike is well over 30lb but if I ease the throttle into about 3.5-5k rpm and then stomp it the boost will hover around 15-18lbs. I checked for a MBC, vacuum leaks waste gate being tempered with. Nothing visual to determine any of that happening. I'm waiting on my wide band to check the a/f and see if the car was tuned for those ridiculous boost levels though the supporting mods doesn't really warrant the insane boost levels. I'm starting to believe it was a home amateur tune gone wrong. Any input would be appreciated. I'm taking it for a legit tune next weekend just trying to figure this out before then make sure it isn't a mechanical problem. thank you

 

Do you have a 3-port?

Boost is obviously setup wrong. I'm guessing that the WGDC's are set way too high and normally the downward correction fixes the issue. But when boost is able to build quickly, the error correction doesn't work fast enough.

 

i do not have a 3 port , its in the mail though. Grimmport EBC. im planning on taking the car to ssp in 2 weeks to get it dyno tuned so im hoping they can sort all that out. im trying to see if i find a intake + 850 injectors and fuel pump so that i dont have to go back later and retune. save me 450 bucks.
