ECU Harness

Hi,

I'm planing to install a Haltech sport 1000 ECU for my EVO X,

and I what to do a custom harness for it, its a Y harness so it will be connected to both OEM ECU and Haltech, without cutting OEM harness like the attached sketch,
it will be like extension then I will direct some wires to the new ECU

So where to get the ECU male and female connectors ???
Or even an extension Harness ??

I have searched a lot online without any results

I bought a HKS VPRO harness to do the same thing since its a piggyback style setup. You might look into doing the same or buy an old harness to cannibalize

Not sure yet. I was going to use the HKS VPRO but I havent found a tuner yet since only HKS prowriter shops can tune it. I was thinking id see if I could do what you were thinking of except with a motec 800. If you can figure out how to do it with a Haltec then I might go that route.

if you going with MOTEC M800 you don't need the harness cuz Motec has plug and play ECU,
For the Haltech I know someone on going on his project, so just a few days and we can get some results,

Haltech has the same functions as Motec with less than half price but not PNP

I'm going to check about HKS F-CON

No motec plug and play for SST equipped cars.
